Hot Charlotte Talent!! Cap704

Cap a.k.a. “Mr. Oyea, Oyeeaaa” currently has all eyes on him and the streets talking and wondering what's his next move. He also has everyone anticipating his upcoming mixtapes, “New Talk of Da South” Vol. 1 and 2 with the released singles “Hard in da Booth” and the BMF freestyle, “All That”.
Originally from New Jersey, Cap moved to the Carolinas in 2004 and quickly jumped in the Charlotte music scene. Having lived in both places, he says his music is a mixture between the northern-style of rap and the swag of the south. He received his start in music in ’99 when a friend introduced him to DJ'ing. From there, he fell into production and engineering and eventually rapping. Growing up, Cap mostly listened to Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Nas, Wu-Tang, Biggie, and Tupac. Cap used his influence from Biggie to re-create the hit “Dreams” which generated a huge buzz for the artist. He considers Joe Budden to be his music role model and his song Ten Minutes is Cap’s current favorite.
